Harway Appliances
Harway’s previous website was nearing its 10th birthday. The owners wanted an updated design built on top of the latest technology. They also wanted it to look just as good as some of the brands that they sell in their high-end appliance show rooms in Austin and Bee Cave, Texas.
The primary functions or goals of the website are to get people to place a call, fill out the inquiry form, or look up the showroom location information and make a visit.
I created a formal looking web design with black and gray color tones to match their logo and branding. High-quality pictures from their brands were used to really make everything pop. The site is powered by WordPress using the Elementor theme, which would allow their staff to make updates if necessary. Since launch, the traffic to their website from search, social, and advertising has steadily increased even with the challenges faced during the opening of a new showroom and the pandemic.
McGregor Mountain Lodge
My family and I try to stay at McGregor, or their sister lodge Castle Mountain, as much as we possibly can. They are both little slices of Heaven nestled in the Rocky Mountains, in between Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park, Colorado.
The lodge owners wanted an updated design that could be applied to both the McGregor and Castle Mountain websites. The primary functions or goals of the websites was to drive visitors to their lodging options and then onto making a reservation by phone or online. They also wanted a website that they could maintain and update with seasonal pictures throughout the year.
I created a fresh and clean looking website powered by WordPress using the Elementor theme. The owners and their staff are excellent photographers and videographers, so I had a ton of good content to work with. Since launch, I have trained the owners and staff to self-update both websites and they have been off to the races ever since! Their bookings were up by +80% compared to 2019, pre-pandemic.
Tinsley Equipment Company
I have worked with the guys at Tinsley Equipment Company since 1998, providing web design, search engine optimization, graphic design services, and PPC advertising. They provide nation-wide bulk processing equipment and system sales for a number of manufacturers that are located across the United States and Canada.
They needed a new, modern, and simple look to help market their products. I collaborated with a graphic designer to first redesign their logo, provide new sales literature, and then design a new look and feel for their website. Because they needed to compete with other companies that had a strong presence on search for similar keyword phrases, I designed and built their website on top of WordPress using the Thesis theme, which is super-optimized for SEO.
I provided a strategic SEO plan and built out the optimized website using the updated look-and-feel. They now get 5-10 good sales leads a day from customers located across the U.S.A. (and globally) via organic search. The team is ecstatic, and their manufacturers can’t believe the amount of business Tinsley Equipment Company brings to them.

HPT Communications offers a broad range of products for the fast growing and ever changing broadband services market.
Their previous website was fast approaching its 10th birthday. The HPT team knew that they needed a new modern looking website that accurately reflected the high-tech industry that they sell within. I led the design and implementation of their new website, as well as a logo redesign. The primary goal or function of the website was to quickly showcase their product line and then lead visitors to their inquiry form or phone number. Their website is built on top of WordPress using the Thesis theme. The HPT team is able to login and make updates as needed and can quickly showcase their products using a digital line card.
